Effective immediately, Physicians Reference Laboratory is pleased to announce the availability of Cystic Fibrosis Carrier Screen testing using an FDA-cleared kit. This test will detect the same core ACOG/ ACMG recommended 23 mutations as well as 4 additional mutations validated by clinical studies.
We are also pleased to announce an expanded Cystic Fibrosis Carrier Screening panel. This test will detect the ACOG/ ACMG recommended 23 mutations as well as 4 additional mutations plus additional 37 most common mutations to cover the world’s most common and North American-prevalent mutations.
